Fire Pit Design & Installation in Madison, WI

Outdoor fire spaces are a great opportunity to get creative with design, as they can be as simple or complex as you like. Non-flammable stone is a natural fit for fire spaces, and there are so many things we can do with it.

Fire Pit Kits

Many manufacturers have developed kits using some of their most popular products, making choosing a fire pit quite easy. Options and add-ons are available within each kit:

  • Grilling grates

  • Steel inserts to protect the block

  • Solid covers or screen covers to hold back the sparks

These kits can be built with an added coping around the top to enhance the look.

Natural Stone

A fire pit can be custom-built out of a variety of types of natural stone. We have access to some pre-cut fire pit systems that are ready-to-go natural stone fire pits.

Fire Place

These are larger, free standing features in your outdoor space. They make quite an impression and can be visually stunning. Many will have built-in areas to store wood and keep it dry and ready to go.

Gas-Fueled Fire Pits

Eliminate the need to store dry wood by incorporating a natural gas line into your fire pit design. There are many ways to achieve a gas fire pit. Most fire pit kits can be fitted with a gas system but allow you to keep the traditional fire pit look.  Some prefer the look of a fire bowl or a fire table. Some can be fitted with LED lights to help set the mood, or with timers for auto shut-off to increase safety.

Bench Walls Add Seating

We often surround patios or fire pit areas with built-in seating. In addition to expanding guest seating, short walls can help define your outdoor space and set it apart from other parts of your yard. Your fire pit can feel like its own space, like another room off of your house.
